The Spinergy SLX 507 is a high-performance 22” (507 mm) wheel designed for active wheelchair users who demand exceptional durability and reliable performance, even in challenging terrain. It features a radial lacing pattern with 18 patented PBO™ spokes, each 4 mm in diameter, which are up to three times stronger than steel while being significantly lighter. As a result, the wheel weighs only 714 g, reducing the overall weight of the wheelchair and improving maneuverability. The PBO™ fibers also provide excellent vibration damping, ensuring a smoother and more comfortable ride. The rim is compatible with high-volume tires, making it an ideal choice for use on gravel, grass, or uneven surfaces. The wheel is available with ½” or 12 mm bearings and comes in a wide range of spoke colors.
